Canada’s Wonderland kicked off the 2017 season with an extensive lineup of live shows, special events and street festival entertainment, highlighted by a month-long celebration of Canada’s 150th birthday.
Home to more than 200 attractions, 70 rides including 16 rollercoasters, and Splash Works (a 20-acre water park), Canada’s Wonderland features North America’s largest variety of coasters including Canada’s tallest and fastest coaster – Leviathan, Canada’s longest wooden coaster – Mighty Canadian Minebuster and Canada’s first inverted coaster – Flight Deck. If roller coasters aren’t for you, try out one of the many flat rides, play a game, catch a show, or grab a bite to eat at one of the many delicious food stations and restaurants.
Kids will love Planet Snoopy and KidZville, which feature more than 25 rides and attractions, not to mention shows and meet and greets with Snoopy, Charlie Brown and the rest of the Peanuts gang.
NEW for 2017! Soaring Timbers – the first ride of its kind in North America. For guests looking for big thrills, Soaring Timbers will have riders spiraling through the sky on two massive gondolas that swing through sweeping arcs while rotating 360 degrees.
Muskoka Plunge is a 60-foot tall waterslide complex located in Splash Works (opens May 27) featuring four speed slides that will have guests free falling through S-curves and 360 degree loops at speeds of up to 40 km/hour!
Canada’s Wonderland will excite families, food lovers, thrill seekers, and guests of all ages. If you’re looking for fun things to do near Toronto, check out www.canadaswonderland.com for more details!
