Haunted Halloween at the Sharon Temple, Friday, October 27: Spend the evening at the museum, and have a spooktacular time visiting the pumpkin patch, scary story time, trick or treat at the historic buildings, and wander down the haunted path….if you dare!
Aurora’s Haunted Forest at Sheppard’s Bush, October 28: Come join us for a spooky night of haunted trails and ghost tales at Aurora’s Haunted Forest. Saturday October 28 from 6-9pm at Sheppard’s Bush. Come explore haunted trails, creepy cabins and Casper’s Scare School Bus. Craft making and children’s activities at the Aurora Family Leisure Complex. Charity bbq on site provided by the Optimist Club of Aurora. Complimentary shuttle bus service available from AFLC. Wristbands are $5 each and must be purchased in advance at Town Hall, AFLC or SAC.
Ghost of Old Town Hall Tours at Newmarket Old Town Hall, October 4, 11, 18, 25: Join us as we tour Downtown and unleash the stories of Newmarket’s past. Guests will be taken on a guided tour of Main street and Old Town Hall, where they will learn about the many suspicious events and anecdotes that have haunted the area since the 1880’s, hosted by The Georgina Paranormal Society. Tickets are $20 and must be purchased in advance at newmarket.ca/ ghosttours.
The Haunting on King Road at the King Heritage and Cultural Centre, October 27 & 28: The Township of King invites you to join our Halloween event. Come if you dare and experience the Haunting on King Road! Visit the Boo Room, Spooky Maze & Paranormal Tour. The event is $7 per person!
Spooktacular Halloween Party at the Elman W. Campbell Museum, October 28: Little ghosts and goblins are invited to haunt the Elman W. Campbell Museum from 7:00 to 8:30 p.m. on Saturday, October 28. Our Spooktacular Hallowe’en Party is suitable for children aged 4 to 10. Costumes are encouraged! Enjoy games, craft, costume parade and a Hallowe’en story. Admission is $5.50 per child. Halloween Haunt in the Forest at the Hollidge Tract, October 28: Dress up in your best Halloween costume and look for trees and their fungi friends. Learn how mushrooms play an important role in the forest. Registration required. Go to york.ca/forestevents to register today! Children under 16 years of age must be accompanied by an adult. Poison ivy is common in all forests. We recommend wearing insect repellent, closed-toed footwear, light coloured long-sleeved shirts and long pants, tucked into your socks. Events are held rain or shine.
