More than two-thirds of York Region land is protected through the greenbelt and Oak Ridges Moraine Acts. So, it's no surprise the region is teeming with trails and parks.
York Regional Forest protects more than 2,200 hectares within 20 tracts and is host to monthly events including guided hikes and forestry education.Cycling the Greenbelt is a wonderful opportunity to explore the many bicycle-friendly trails and parks of York Region.
