Event Description

Enjoy an evening in the forest learning about owls who call Ontario their home.

This workshop is designed for adults who are passionate about owls and enjoy nature viewing.

The event will be held in two one-hour sessions:

Session 1:

Spend time inside the Bill Fisch Forest Stewardship and Education Centre learning about what owls eat, where they live, how they migrate and adapt to their environment. Discover what you can do to help protect local owls including proper viewing techniques.

Session 2:

Take a one hour guided walk to listen for owls.

Owl calling may be done if it is undisruptive for owls.

Additional Information

$20 registration fee.
Adults ages 16 and up.
