Event Description

Get ready to hear the classic tale of Babar the Elephant with narrator Jacques Arsenault and live music by Francis Poulenc performed by Quintroversy Woodwind Quintet!

Jacques Arsenault is no stranger to the magic of storytelling whether it is bringing tales to elementary school children, singing in an Canadian Opera Company production, or reading to his 5-year old daughter!

Quintroversy Woodwind Quintet was formed with the mission to introduce classical music to young people in a fun and open atmosphere. They have performed across Ontario for events such as the Children’s Festival at the Jane Mallet Theatre, lobby performances for the Toronto Symphony’s Young People’s Concerts at Roy Thomson Hall, and the McMichael Canadian Art Collection’s Family Day, in addition to touring in-school performances as artists with Prologue to the Performing Arts.
